How do we test our OWN philosophy or world view?
by Terry inthis topic is about the difference between how we see the world and how it really is.. we each have our own way.. some of us try to be mostly rational.. others, prefer a more religious, spiritual or mystical approach.. i'd say most ordinary people (non-specialists) mix the two.. .
with that premise in mind, i say the following:.
dropping an egg on the floor tests the integrity of the egg well-enough as measured against gravity :).

Atlas Shrugged Part 1
by littlerockguy inwent and saw atlas shrugged part 1 at the rave theater here in little rock friday night.
i was surprised it showed here since it had such a limited showing.. anyway i was really surprised at how well it was done on such a limited budget and a very tight and short schedule to have the whole picture done and it really followed the book very well.
i went to the 7:15 showing and the theater was packed but but not sold out.

Is praying just focused wishing!!!

it seems to me that all the praying in the world does not make any difference, people die god's not concerned nor is the gb, and i think that all praying is highly concentrated wishing!!.

I'm going to try some hypnotherapy to destroy the JW mindset
by Star tiger ini got to try something, i know all you great people have commented previously that you've got to do your time working through it, but i need to try for myself a quick answer, i think that because i got into the jw mindset so easily through my parents, that through a hypnotic state i may be able to destroy the damage due to the gb, and begin my life a new, i will give you updates as to the results, peace to you all!.

I got to try something, I know all you great people have commented previously that you've got to do your time working through it, but I need to try for myself a quick answer, I think that because I got into the JW mindset so easily through my parents, that through a hypnotic state I may be able to destroy the damage due to the GB, and begin my life a new, I will give you updates as to the results, peace to you all!

I've been sad all my life since my parents got into the JW's

My daughter asked me why we don't go to meetings
by JWinprotest inlast night, completely out of the blue, my 6 year old daughter, asked my wife and i why we don't go to meetings anymore.
she actually said that she misses them.
i know, where have i failed!!!.

Hi all,
I am so grateful to my loving wife who said she would leave me if I tried to bring my three children up in the witness mindset, I looked into Coc and found out that this religion is a cult then thankfully my parents and my children have got out of the witnesses which I am grateful for!
However I am still in the angry stage, at last the children are now safe, my young life was lost and am now unable to compete in a finanncial world ill equipped to function in a secular world , it's a pity I cannot sue the evil b******s who ruined my life, let's hope someone can bring down the tower!!!!
